It comes from naturally fallen branches of the Bursera graveolens, gathered only after the tree has completed its life cycle and rested on the forest floor for years. This slow process allows the wood to develop its signature aroma, a soft blend of citrus, resin, and something almost honeyed.
Ethical harvesting honors both the ecosystem and the communities who protect it. No living trees are cut, and replanting efforts often accompany collection, creating a cycle of renewal rather than depletion.
